Quentin Chester is an award-winning photographer and writer with an abiding interest in wild landscapes.
A contributor to
Australian Geographic for more than three decades, his books include
Australia's Wild Islands and
The Kimberley: Horizons of Stone (both with
Alasdair McGregor), as well as two essay collections:
The Wild Calling and
Tales from the Bush.
Quentin's wilderness photographs feature moments of natural intimacy and awakening. His home environs on Kangaroo Island are a major inspiration; so too the remote reaches of outback and coastal Australia. Images from these encounters feature in a variety of exhibitions and editorial assignments. Limited edition art prints available through
Fine Art Kangaroo Island.
